This Privacy Policy explains how Muzimake ("Muzimake," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use muzimake.com (the "Website") to create a custom song, or otherwise interact with our services (the "Services"). By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Use.
If we make changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly. Please review this page when you use our Services.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you create a song or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name and email address (and a phone number only if you choose to give one)
- The story, names, memories, and details you share for the song
- Any photos you upload for a gift
- Preferences such as occasion, genre, vibe, and language
- Payment details, which are entered into and processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect device and usage data (such as browser type, approximate location from IP address, pages visited, and actions taken) using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To write, generate, and deliver your custom song
- To process payments and send order confirmations and your delivery link
- To provide support and respond to your questions
- To send marketing or product updates, if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To improve and secure the Services and prevent fraud or misuse
We do not sell your personal information.
The providers we work with
We share information only as needed to run the Services, with trusted providers that act on our behalf, including:
- Stripe for payment processing
- Supabase for our database, file storage, and sign-in
- Email and AI music-generation providers to deliver emails and produce your song
We may also disclose information to comply with the law or protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We may share aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.
How long we keep it
Your finished song audio and any gift photos you upload are automatically deleted about 60 days after delivery. Your account and basic order details remain so you can find past orders and we can keep proper records, until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
Your choices and rights
- Marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in any message, or by contacting us.
- Your account: You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your account and the songs tied to it. You can also email us to access, correct, or delete your data.
- International users: Depending on where you live (for example, the EU or UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data. Contact us to exercise them.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the Website is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.
Security
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Gift photos. Any photos you add to a gift are encrypted in your browser before they are uploaded, so only encrypted data is stored on our servers — the photos are never kept as plain, viewable images. They are decrypted only in the browser of someone who opens the gift link, and, like the song audio, are automatically deleted about 60 days after delivery.
Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
